How Childish Gambino made me start a black art podcast.

The first episode of Black Art School is on Itunes. We discuss Childish Gambino's "This is America" (watch below).
CAUTION: Video contains violence and podcast contains some 'strong language.'

Childish Gambino basically forced me to start a podcast and gather the dopest black art intellectuals I could find to figure out what was really going on.

I was joined by fellow Cranbrook alums: Marcellus Armstrong, Jackie Brown, Ciara Newton, Ato Ribiero, and Ricky Weaver.  There is so little space for black art to be critiqued, especially by other black artists. I think it lends a perspective to the work that is essential. Choosing Childish Gambino's "This is America" was obvious. We'd all seen it, we'd all had strong reactions to it. What does it all mean? Listen and find out.
